Caring for the Land That Feeds Us
Wild Vines Estate is not just our business — it's our home. The land we wake up to every morning, the soil our vines grow in, the water that runs through the Wollombi Brook below us. We are not detached from it. We are part of it.
That means we take seriously our responsibility to look after it. We are early in our sustainability journey — we will not pretend otherwise. But the commitment is real, and it is growing alongside the vines.
What We Do Now
We farm with the health of the soil at the centre of every decision. We manage water carefully — particularly through the dry years — and we are mindful of what we apply to the land and why. Our small-batch approach means we produce only what the vineyard gives us, nothing more.
Where We Are Headed
As the cellar door takes shape and the business grows, we are actively developing our sustainability practices — from water management and soil health to energy use and packaging. We will share our progress honestly and openly, right here on this page, as we go.
