2023 'Gully Row' Chambourcin | Unruly Wines

2023 was not an easy year for our Chambourcin vines. Winter floods, wet feet, and a relentlessly damp spring tested them at every turn. Chambourcin is not most grapes. It endured.

When the warm dry ripening season finally arrived, the vines delivered exactly what this variety is renowned for — medium weight, bright red fruit, and a distinctive hint of old English mint that lifts the finish in the best possible way.

This is our first Chambourcin. Definitely not our last.

Serve it slightly chilled on a warm day. Pair it with: chargrilled lamb, antipasto, a summer barbecue, or anything that tastes better outdoors.
