The 2023 season started out cool and wet but thankfully summer was warm and dry resulting in perfect ripening weather for our Chardonnay. This wine was fermented with predominantly wild natural occurring yeasts and then aged in a combination of new and old French oak. The result is a crisp medium weight Chardonnay showing classic cool season fruit flavours of melon and nectarine with a subtle spine of French oak.
Our journey continues with ongoing improvement to Wild Vines Estate and this wine shows a dedication to single vineyard, estate grown fruit, with small batch winemaking. We trust you will join us and enjoy the results of our passion.
